The Oatey® Freestanding Tub Drain removes the guesswork and complexity from installing freestanding or island tubs. Simply install the gasketed drain receptor to the 1-1/2” (or 2” using supplied adaptor) DWV system at rough-in. This super-compact drain body with its asymmetrical coated Stainless Steel flange, can be installed in tight spaces, through a 4” hole in the subfloor into an 8” joist.
Available in ABS, PVC or Cast Iron, this drain is compatible with either of the supplied brass tailpieces or directly with a Schedule 40 tailpiece. It also comes with a pre-installed, ¼ Turn Cherne-brand test cap and a protective tiling cover.
