Hercules® Megatape is a heavy-duty, pro-grade thread-sealing tape that’s built to apply, look and perform better than traditional thread tape. At 3.5 mils thick, Megatape won’t trip or tear and requires fewer wraps, giving you the confidence of a strong, secure seal without the hassle. This all-purpose PTFE tape seals threads on virtually any piping system, including stainless steel pipe, cast iron, PVC, CPVC and ABS pipe, brass and chrome fittings, and has connections. Megatape offers improved aesthetics compared to colored tapes; its gray color makes it ideal for use with stainless steel or chrome pipe.
